I will be offering three days of special appointments at the beach! Family Portraits, Senior Portraits, Trash the Dress…..you name it…..it’s always good at the beach!
I’m currently booking appointments for the weekend of November 7-9, 2009 (Saturday-Monday) at Montana De Oro State Park. Montana De Oro is gorgeous….over 8,000 acres of rugged cliffs, secluded sandy beaches, coastal plains, streams, canyons, and hills!
For more information on Montana De Oro please visit their website at: http://www.slostateparks.com/montana_de_oro/default.asp
What better way to spend a day with your family than at the beach! It’s time to get your family together, and get some new portraits on the wall! You’ll have beautiful Christmas cards to send out! Christmas gifts to give to family, and great memories of spending time together with your family.
Sessions start at 10am and last an hour. Daytime sessions are $50.
Since appointments are only available for these three days, there are only three sunset appointments available. Sunset appointments will be for 2 hours and start at 3pm each of those three days. Sunset on those days will be at 5pm. Sunset appointments are $75.
Sessions are limited. Call or email right away to schedule your appointment. – Or – Use my online scheduling system to book your appointment. Book your appointment at:

What a weekend it was for me. It started with 6 year old twin boys. They came into the studio wearing t-shirts saying Thing 1 and Thing 2. I had two OpLove sittings, two Senior Portrait sessions, one Homecoming game and festivities, and one family portrait session.
Here’s one from the last senior session on Sunday. I love when I get a chance to be creative! Sam brought in his snowboard. He got to use his imagination while posing…….and I got to use mine while editing the image. Here’s the final product:

I love being a part of small weddings. Saturday October 10, I had the privilege of capturing the memories at Mica and Terry’s wedding. Mica had an amazing dress. Her grandmother made the cake (and did a beautiful job). Mica’s mother worked on the flowers, her sister tied all the favors. The wedding was held at a friend’s home outside of Exeter. The weather was perfect, the sunset gorgeous…………………..

If you’ve followed my blog at all, you know I love having newborns in my studio. This past week I had the privilege of having little Josh and his mom and dad in my studio. Josh is 3 weeks old, and slept through the whole session! Here are a few of my favorite images from Josh’s time in my studio!

This past weekend my family made our last trip of the season down to Anaheim’s Angel Stadium. We were at the games on Saturday and Sunday. This is one of my favorite images from Sunday, when our seats were out next to the bullpen. This was taken as the relief pitchers were heading to bullpen. Matt Palmer #32 is a former Fresno Grizzlies player. He has been in the Angels bullpen as a long reliever, but was taken out of the bullpen last night as the Angels starting pitcher. His last start was back in July, a game that the kids and I happened to be at. Last night against the Texas Rangers, he allowed only one hit, earning his 11th win of the season. Matt is now 11-2. Wish we could have been there!

I have had the privilege of having Luciana and her mom in my studio twice now. During her first visit, she was a bit fussy…so we scheduled a second appointment for her to come back with her mom another day at an earlier time. What a joy it is to have newborns in my studio! I love this shot of the two of them…..just look at those little toes!
Melissa, thank you for bringing your precious little girl into my studio and trusting me to capture the memories of this amazing time in your lives!
